I'd like to visit...

2nd ESO students have written about a country they'd like to visit. They have practice the structure I'd like / I wouldn't like and have looked for information about different places. The vocabulary of the task was referred to Geography and landscape. Enjoy and plan your next holiday!

Eating out

First ESO students (aged 12-13) have been learning new vocabulary about food and drink. An interesting and creative way of using these new words is writing a menu of a restaurant. There are many of them, obviously, and you'll see here just a choice. There have been Italian, Indian or Spanish restaurants, along with cafés or ice cream shops.

We have also introduced a new digital tool called Canva. Forget about old pieces of cardboard. They have created colourful and imaginative pieces of work.

Bon appétit!

Phrasal verbs have always been a real headache for Spanish or Catalan learners. Here you have some examples with PUT, one of the most usual ones. Of course, there are more, but it's a good choice to start with.

Here you can also watch a video with examples.

Designing our own rooms

Sometimes it is very difficult to write about what we don't know. However, 1st ESO students have created their own rooms and have written a short description about those projects. They have used expressions such as There is/there are, paying attention to singular and plural nouns. They have also used prepositions of place (next to, near, in front of...) and they have enjoyed cutting and pasting different objects from decoration magazines. They are great artists!
