OPERACIÓN TRIUNFO

Last night I watched the last gala of a very good music programme that it’s call Operación Triunfo. It was on TVE 2 at 10:30 pm and it finished on at 1:00 am approximately. I like it because I love dancing. I also like singing but I don’t do it very well… I love the contestants and the presenter he is so funny, but I don’t like the judges… They are so strict. I’m a little bit sad because this edition is finished. But I don’t mind because I want to meet the next contestants!

NOW AND THEN

Our lives are different from our parents' and our grandparents'. In order to practice the simple past, 1st ESO students have asked their parents and grandparents about their lifestyles when they were teenagers themselves. As a result, our students have created texts and presentations about the differences in clothes, free time activities, food and many more issues which have changed a lot during the 20th century and the beginning of the 21st century.

Some of the presentations have been created through Google Drive, which means you can see it if you click here. Some others have been written using word processors or presentations. Anyway, it's been fun to investigate about the past and to discover how life was so different not so long ago.

Fictional narrative

Image result for fictional narrative
2nd ESO students had to write a fictional narrative about a funny, strange or scary thing that had happened to them. In the production, they had to include past simple, past continuous and sequencing words and expressions such as one day, soon, then, later... They were also requested to use adverbs (-ly) which were the contents learnt in the unit.

Reviews

Image result for fun fair

2nd ESO students have written short reviews about theme parks, museums and other interesting placew they have visited. The aim of the task was to describe one of these interesting places. They also had to structure their texts in three paragraphs, using also, too, could and other past tenses. Maybe you have visited some of these places too and you share their opinions.
