The Job Interview

You must apply for the role of Conversation Assistant in an English school.
Working in pairs, you must present your application to an elite judging panel.

You must...
- Create a Curriculum Vitae (CV) in English. The purpose of the CV is to advertise your talents and convince us that you are the right person for the job. You should include details about your family, hobbies, and interesting past experiences like holidays. Tell us who your favourite football team is, or who your favourite actress or singer is. But remember to tell us why, and what this demonstrates about your character. The way you present your CV is up to you. Be creative!
- Take your CV’s to the judges on the assessment day and prepare to present them in a formal interview. You will spend 10 – 20 minutes telling us about your work.
- We will then ask you 5 questions, 3 of which will be chosen from those that are listed below. You should prepare answers to all of these. The other 2 will be specifically based on your presentation.

Questions:
1) Why do you want to go to the U.K?
2)  What would make you a good Conversation Assistant?
3)Describe your best talent? How long have you been doing it, and how have you improved?
4) What do you want to do in the future?
5)Tell me about a time when you and a group of friends worked together to overcome a problem by demonstrating teamwork.
