One of our collaborative projects has been around endangered species. In this post we will show you some of the presentations 2nd ESO students have been doing about this topic. We will update it soon with more productions. We are sure you will like them.

We have used different digital tools for our presentations. Of course PowerPoint is
already a good one, but we have started using other presentations to make them more
    interactive and interesting.

March activities

After Carnival celebrations, March has arrived. Second ESO students are working in many projects at the same time.
One of the tasks is being really moivating and entertaining. They are writing a post for an imaginary blog, mainly about sports and travelling, but also about fashion, videogames and music. Another one is about endangered species. Working as a team, through collaborative learning strategies, they have investigated about endangered animals and have created different presentations using different digital tools as Canva, Prezi or Glogster. The final one is about unusual ways of transportation, which is the topic  they are learning about in their books. Soon, you will be able to see their productions.

Collaborative projects (again!)

This week, 2nd ESo students have started a new collaborative project. They have started to learn more about endangered species as the Siberian tiger, panda bears or whales.

First of all, they have decided which animals they want to learn about. Afterwards, they have started browsing different sites and thanks to digital tools they are saving the information (features, habitat, why these animals are endangered...).

Once the information has been found, they are going to create a presentation, using either Canva, Glogster or Prezi.

Today we want to show you how they have worked today. You will be able to see their productions soon.

Informal letters

Writing letters used to be very common.. Nowadays, we write emails or text family and friends, though.
2nd ESO students have written informal letters where they had to tank somebody for a present they had received (it's their birthday!). They also had to describe what they were going to do to celebrate such an important date. Most of them have chosen to have a party with friends. We have only included a few of the letters written, given that they are very similar, but you can read about their plans.
